In this project, clear analysis and construction of a 3D model  gave the management company the confidence to go ahead with the proposed design.This staircase was a key feature of a substantial extension to a commercial office situated in a rural location.  Planning permission required the windows to be small to match the surrounding area. In order to get more light into the office accommodation, the architect proposed an open staircase allowing maximum impact of the light entering from the larger windows at the front and rear of the building.The client needed to visualise from the architect's plans exactly how the staircase would work.  A virtual 3D model and movie enabled the client to appreciate the impact of the staircase and the affect of the light into the office throughout the day.
